Plex troubleshooting
Try these four quick checks4 steps
- Check your connection. Confirm the device is online, then reopen Plex.
- Check the service status. Open the full status page above to see whether Plex or another service is reporting an issue.
- Try another title. If only one movie or episode fails, note its name and the error shown in Plex.
- Restart Plex, then try your internet connection again. Close and reopen the app. If the same file still will not play, restart your internet router or modem. Wait for the connection to return, then try opening that file again. If it still fails, include your device, title, and exact error when you ask for help.
